Kel Manning's work, The Suicide Racer was an entry in the Sci-Fi/Fantasy category and scored the most points from judges amongst several other prestigious and esteemed writers. Their work, The Suicide Racer is about a world ruled by corporate bloodsport where a disgraced racer enters the deadliest game on earth while a mercenary with a vendetta must decide whether the woman he's meant to kill is worth betraying everything for.
